DrillPress
was designed to be easy-to-use.
Using a straightforward interface, editors enter stories,
columns and features, as well as community content such as
events and venue information.
DrillPress
starts the publishing process.
Content is entered first into DrillPress. Then, DrillPress
can automatically export to print, Web or (if desired) both.
Create
a permanent archive.
DrillPress functions as a publication's (or group of publications)
central content warehouse. With regular use, DrillPress becomes
an electronic archive of nearly all content produced by a
publication.
Create
multiple editions with DrillPress.
DrillPress is not limited to creating just one publication
(a weekly newspaper, for example). DrillPress can "repurpose"
its content — to create multiple print publications (a semi-annual
restaurant guide, a local band directory, etc.), provide data
for any number of Web products (a searchable directory of
art galleries, for example) or syndicate content to other
sources.
