A
veteran of new media promotion and sales, Brian Boyle is a
long-time evangelist for the early incorporation of marketing
strategy when building an online business.
At
Metro Times newspaper, Brian oversaw the successful marketing
launch of metrotimes.com.
He also managed all integrated sponsorship activities for
the site, resulting in new business partnerships with Pepsi,
Absolut Vodka, and Rollerblade, as well as several other local
and national firms.
Most
recently, Brian was Director of Interactive Marketing and
Media at Rare
Medium, a national Web consulting company. At Rare Medium,
Brian helped other businesses acquire new customers, manage
existing relationships, and use new media to position and
extend their brand.
Brian
has been a featured public speaker for Crain's
Detroit, the Detroit Internet Expo and IBM's e-commerce
forum. Brian holds a BS in Engineering (1988) from Michigan
State University.
